He was buried in Wesley Cemetery, Pixley Twsp, Clay County, Illinois. Son of Uriah Byrne and Lydia Brown on Byrnley Plantation near The Plains, Virginia. Charles married Temperance Gibson daughter of Nicholas Gibson and Lydia Sink on 30 Jan 1826 in Braxton County, West Virginia. Temperance was born in 1810 in Lewis County., Virginia. She died in 1880 in Hoosier Township, Clay County, Illinois. She was buried in Wesley Cemetery, Pixley Twsp, Clay County, Illinois. Temperance GIBSON was born in 1810 in Lewis County (West) Virginia the daughter of Nicholas and Lydia GIBSON. She passed away at the home of her son on Hoosier Prairie, Clay County, at the age of seventy years. She was married to Charles Hanriford BYRNE January 30, 1826. Six children were born to this union: Uriah, John, William, Lydia, Evalina and Charles H., Jr. They immigrated to Denver Township about 1848, where they raised their family, Burial was in the Wesley Cemetery by the side of her husband and two daughters, Lydia and Evalina. Charles and Temperance had the following children: i. Charles Hanriford Byrne was born on 15 Dec 1845 in Braxton County,West Virgina. He died on 15 Aug 1915 in Sailor Springs,Clay County,Illinois. Enlisted 1 Dec 1861 at Olney, Illinois in Co. A, 63 regt, Illinois. Vol. To serve 3 yrs, mustered out as Corporal at Louisville, Ky13 July 1865 Charles married Editha Adeline Lambert daughter of Theopholius Lambert and Charlotte Reynolds on 27 Jul 1865. Editha was born on 15 Feb 1842 in Wabash County, Illinois. She died on 10 Oct 1918 in Hoosier Township, Clay County, Illinois. ii. Uriah Byrne was born about 1834 in Virginia. iii. James W. Byrne was born about 1835 in Virginia. iv. Evalina Byrne was born about 1838 in Virginia.
