Wife of Oshel Asbury Fisher . Daughters,Reba Jane Fisher Stutler.(Alfred) Lona Mae Fisher Carney (Dell) Alice Marie Fisher Starcher (Jack). And 12 Grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and loved her grandchildren. In the winter, whe she couldnt get out and chop tree, or clear the land or work in her yard. She would quilt, beautiful quilts. She would perserve everything in the garden, and make all kinds of jellies. She was a great cook. We always talk about her fried potatoes, and cornbread and beans,,with a little bacon grease in them, "Yummy". Grandma, never knew a stranger, she always gave everyone a hug and as (she would say) a peck on the cheek. How precious a woman she was, there is none like our grandma, and we miss her so much. Love from all of us left behind. Love you bunches.

The 1880 shows only one Counts family in Kanawha County. James A, son of John and Margaret, was born about 1858. It looks like it could be him in 1900, born Apr 1857, in Kanawha Co, married to Virginia, age 25, (7/1874 in VA) married for 6 years, 2 children: George D, age 4 (8/1895) and a daughter, Earcie M or Earlie M, born 12/1898. It could be them in Boone Co in 1920, this time she is listed as Rosa V, age 40, and George is down the page. George and family are back in Kanawha by 1930 and Virginia, widowed, lives 2 houses before them. I found George's marriage (as GD Counts) in Kanawha in 1915. There - James died in Kanawha Co in 1923. Looks like Virginia remarried in Kanawha Co in 1925 to A R Laughry - but she was a Counts widow in 1930, so maybe not.
